Jacobs Haberdashery provides sewing machine servicing and overlocker servicing for customers in Hastings, Bexhill and the surrounding east Sussex area.

Regular servicing is a good way to keep your machine maintained and working properly, particularly if you sew regularly.

Whether you use your machine for dressmaking, quilting, alterations, crafts or everyday sewing, proper maintenance can help keep it performing reliably.

If your machine is making unusual noises, producing uneven stitches, struggling to feed fabric or experiencing other problems, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

The general service includes setting tensions, testing and checking operation of the machine including stitches, adjusting timing, cleaning drive mechanism, removal of lint, lubricating and setting to run. This is a mechanical service not a valet!

We have shops in both Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea, making it convenient for customers across the local area.

There is no need to book an appointment. Just drop your machine into us when it is convenient for you.

If we are unable to repair your sewing machine there is no charge.
